Scott Winship

Scott Winship, Ph.D., is research manager of the Economic Mobility Project, where his primary responsibility is developing and managing the project’s research agenda.  Prior to being at Pew, he was a senior policy advisor at Third Way’s Middle Class Program and the founding managing editor of The Democratic Strategist.  Scott hails from rural Maine, graduated from Northwestern University, and recently received a doctorate from Harvard University’s social policy program.
